Chlorogenic acid is a phytochemical found in natural, unground, and untoasted coffee beans. It has recently gained attention due to claims that it has anti-diabetic and weight-loss effects. And saying that a substance helps with weight loss immediately puts it in the spotlight. It also promotes a decrease in blood sugar levels and has benefits for blood pressure.

It must be said that this is based on limited studies. The tests and trials have been conducted on small groups of people, so you should take all the information with caution. But how much of this is true about green coffee?

What is Chlorogenic Acid

  • Coffee bean extract
  • 3-O-caffeoylquinic acid
  • 5-O-caffeoylquinic acid
  • Green coffee extract

You can find this substance in any type of natural green coffee and in prunes. Its effect is laxative. It also has a stimulating power greater than caffeine, about 33% higher, so you should be cautious if caffeine doesn’t sit well with you. Its molecular structure consists of one molecule of caffeic acid and two molecules of quinic acid.

Recommended Dosage

Chlorogenic acid: green coffeeWhen taken as a dietary supplement, the recommended dose is 120 to 300 mg per day. Higher doses may have beneficial effects on blood pressure and circulation, although there are no studies to verify this with a large number of subjects. In any case, the recommendation is not to exceed the indicated amount.

Studies

There are studies that show the impact on personal wellbeing, glycemic index, blood sugar, weight loss, and blood pressure, but all reports and clinical studies have been conducted with a single-blind method and with a limited number of participants. Unfortunately, there has been no definitive evidence on this matter yet.

For blood pressure, the doses used have been less than 200 mg, and improvement in blood pressure has been detected.

Foods with Chlorogenic Acid

  • Coffee and green coffee. One liter of coffee provides 500 to 800 mg of chlorogenic acid. From 250 to 400 mg of caffeic acid.
  • Apples, pears, eggplants, tomatoes, blueberries, and strawberries.
  • Bamboo.
  • Potatoes.
  • Prunes.

As you can see, there are many natural foods you can eat to obtain this substance. The most famous one is green coffee due to the high concentration of this substance, but you also have fruits, vegetables, and herbs with considerable amounts. Now, if you’re looking for higher doses, you’ll need to consume coffee or some synthesized supplement.

Chlorogenic Acid Side Effects

  • Excitability.
  • Irritability.
  • Tachycardia.
  • Diarrhea in high doses.
  • Allergies.

Although many people insist on saying only good things about green coffee, it should be noted that coffee consumption is associated with heart problems. High levels of homocysteine have been detected in regular coffee drinkers, which may be due to caffeine and chlorogenic acid. High homocysteine levels indicate a higher likelihood of coronary diseases. Those allergic to coffee should avoid consuming this substance as it could cause an allergic reaction. In general, any product that accelerates or increases nervousness can impact the heart, as it forces the rhythm.

However, moderate and controlled use doesn’t have to reproduce unwanted effects. Millions of people drink coffee every day, and it improves their quality of life. Moderate consumption is completely safe.

Has anyone lost weight with green coffee?

    • Marta Lerinde says:

Thanks for commenting, Marina. Losing weight is very relative for each case. Green coffee can be a helpful aid for weight loss. The properties of chlorogenic acid make it easier for you to follow a better diet and ensure that you lose weight. But like with anything, it’s not a miracle product, although some people experience significant benefits.

If you’re thinking of buying green coffee, you should maintain a balanced diet as well, meaning modifying some habits to make it more helpful. Of course, it can reduce your appetite and give you more energy, but it should be combined with other things like diet and exercise.

      • Esteban says:

Hi Marta, I see you know a lot. I’d like to know your opinion on some products. It seems like you’re an administrator, so I suppose you can see my email. Please write to me. Cheers!

  2. norma says:

It’s miraculous!!! I drink green coffee bean infusion: one cup on an empty stomach, one cup before lunch, and one cup at night. You can find it in health food stores. Boil one cup of water with ten beans, boil it, and let it steep for 15 minutes before drinking. It’s miraculous for everything. I weighed 87 kg, and after just one week of drinking it, I lost 5 kg!!! I also have more energy to do everything… exercise… everything… It works like magic for me. Plus, I haven’t been so strict with my food since this tea curbs my anxiety and appetite. You should try it, ladies!!!!!

    • Marta Lerinde says:

I’m glad it works so well in your case, Norma. It’s clear it gives you the energy you need.

    • Alejandra says:

Sorry, where can I get it? Is it very expensive?

      • Marta Lerinde says:

It’s relatively cheap, not a high-priced supplement, more on the affordable side. You can find it in various online stores and traditional health food shops dedicated to dietetics and supplements. It’s often sold in places that also offer teas.

    • Julia says:

Where did you buy it? Is it expensive? Thank you very much.

      • Belen says:

Hi, I recommend it in capsule form. I took it for a month, 2 capsules before the main meal, and lost 8 kg!!! Without being strict about my food. I did notice it made me really thirsty, but it significantly reduced my anxiety, and I no longer have the urge to eat all the time. It’s amazing!!

        • Naomi says:

Hi, I’d like to know where you got the capsules… was it online?

      • Marilyn Peña says:

I produce it with different flavors and ground to optimize its benefits since a large amount of chlorogenic acid is trapped inside the bean. We are located in Colombia.

    • maria says:

Is this really true? I can’t believe it. Can you tell me more about it?

    • Debora says:

Hi Norma, I read your comment, and I’d love to hear more about your experience with green coffee now. Thanks!

  3. Graciela Eva says:

I have “Irritable Bowel Syndrome” (IBS)… Is it likely that drinking green coffee will cause symptoms of excessive intestinal motility?

    • Marta Lerinde says:

Hi Graciela, it’s very possible that you’re experiencing those symptoms. One of the side effects of green coffee is diarrhea, which, although rare, can occur. If there’s an intestinal condition or stomach problems, it’s much easier for these symptoms to appear. So if you have IBS and drink green coffee, it’s more likely to affect you, but this can also happen with regular coffee. It’s something you should avoid.

  4. katherin jara says:

Hello, I have chronic hypertension. Can drinking green coffee cause any side effects? Where can I buy it? Thanks.

    • Marta Lerinde says:

It’s always been said that coffee raises blood pressure, but recently there are studies indicating that drinking coffee can lower it. So, it’s best to follow your doctor’s advice regarding regular coffee. If you can drink that, then green coffee should be fine too.

In any case, with chronic conditions, it’s important to be cautious with any supplement, no matter how healthy it may seem. If you start drinking it, begin with a small amount and observe how it affects you, as each person reacts differently to the same substances.

  5. Lupe says:

Donde y en cuanto lo puedo conseguir?

    • Marta Lerinde says:

Hi Lupe, there are different brands of chlorogenic acid. Depending on which one you choose, the price can vary. Where you live also affects the price. There are several online stores. If you have trouble finding one in your area, let me know.

    • Rosa says:

Hi, you can find it in pharmacies… they are more reliable. Green Coffee, the Salvat brand.

  6. lauriss says:

It’s been really good for me too. In the mornings, I had low blood pressure and felt very tired. Since I started taking it, I have a lot more energy, and it has also helped regulate my metabolism since I suffer from constipation. I don’t think it’s suitable for people with hypertension or irritable bowel syndrome.

    • Marta Lerinde says:

That’s the morning boost to start the day well! I’m glad it’s working for you and gives you energy in the mornings. Plus, it helps with constipation, so that’s great.

Thank you very much, Lauriss, for sharing how it’s working for you.

  7. maria laura says:

Hello Marta Lerinde… and all the girls:

I started a treatment with a nutritionist for auriculotherapy on 11/11/15. It went well for the first 15 days or so, and the next 15 days were okay too. By 11/12/15, I had lost 5 kg. I started the treatment at 80.5 kg (the nutritionist comes to my house with his scale, weighs you, does a small health summary, places the 6 needles in your ear, and comes back after 15 days). I was really enthusiastic, but by 23/12 and 6/1/16, the last dates he came, I stagnated and gained 600 grams. He says it’s because of the holidays, but I feel like the needles aren’t having the same effect anymore.

I knew about the effects of green coffee, and about a month ago, after visiting a page, I made myself a cup. It was a Saturday, like today, and I felt all the things you guys mention: a good mood, a boost of energy, and a decreased desire to eat. Conclusion: I recommend it.

I’ll tell you that while I was reading your comments, I prepared my second cup of green coffee (the first one of my life), and I just finished drinking it. Girls, good luck to all with green coffee, we will stay in touch. Everyone can join if they feel it’s helpful, so we can support each other for things like this, that happen to all of us, without exception, like the need to strengthen ourselves in diets. I’m leaving my number and maybe we can create a WhatsApp group. Thanks Marta for letting us share this, thanks girls, and good luck!!!

    • Marta Lerinde says:

Hello María Laura, I can share the phone number if someone asks for it, no problem, but it’s better not to publish it here for privacy reasons. I’m also glad to hear you’re motivated with green coffee and improving your figure. Often, the first method we try doesn’t work, but the key is to keep going and find what works best for each person.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I’m sure it will help a few of us.

      • Sandra Aguirre says:

Please send me the number, I want to know how it has evolved since January. Thanks for your support.

      • elisa says:

Hi, I just found out about green coffee. Please send me your number.

    • martha Hernandez says:

I’m really interested. Where can I buy it? I’m from Guayaquil, please.

      • Marta Lerinde says:

Hi Martha, in Santiago de Guayaquil, I can’t point you to a specific store, but I’m sure there are several. If you don’t know any, check online—it will be easier to find it.

  8. Mary says:

Hi, I have polycystic kidney disease. Can I take it? I need to lose weight since my doctor recommended it, but I’m not sure if it’s advisable in my case.

    • Marta Lerinde says:

In principle, for polycystic kidney disease, it’s recommended to moderate the consumption of any kind of coffee. You may want to look for an alternative that’s better suited for your condition.

  9. caro says:

Girls, I have some doubts. It’s only my belly where I have love handles, and my legs are fine. Will the whole body slim down? I don’t want to have skinny legs, a skeletal face, and I also don’t want to lose my breasts since I’ve been well-endowed in that area, and I don’t want to be flat in the back either. I don’t want to become a swimming champion with nothing in front and nothing behind… Please, tell me how does green coffee help with weight loss and if you blend the beans, boil them whole, or take them raw and blended?

    • Marta Lerinde says:

There are different products. Some come in capsules that you swallow, and others are infusions, where the green coffee extract is added to a bag so you can take the infusion with hot water.

  10. Guapa says:

What is the approximate maximum time for taking it? I’ve been taking it for several months, and I’m not sure if it’s recommended to stop.

  11. Guada says:

I’ve been taking 2 capsules a day for several months. How many months can I continue?

    • Marta Lerinde says:

Two or three months, and then take a break for at least one month. This allows your body to function on its own, and any excesses can be purified.

  12. Mary says:

    Will it have an effect?

  13. Mary says:

Oh, better said, how long does it take to notice its effect?

    • Marta Lerinde says:

It helps to complement a better diet. The effects of chlorogenic acid from green coffee are noticeable from the first day, but if you want to lose weight, it depends on how you eat.

  14. MABEL says:

Hi, for green coffee beans, do you need to boil them, or do you boil the water and pour it over the beans, then cover it? What is the process for using whole green coffee beans? Thanks.

    • Marta Lerinde says:

Hi Mabel, for the green coffee bean infusion:

      * Boil 350 to 400 ml of water in a pot.
      * When the water is boiling, add 40 to 50 grams of coffee.
      * Lower the heat so the process continues slowly, allowing the active ingredients to be extracted for 15 minutes. Stir to prevent the beans from sticking and to keep them loose. You can do this with a spoon.
      * Turn off the heat and let the liquid cool.
Now you have your natural green coffee infusion ready. You can add honey or whatever you normally use to sweeten it. The taste will be quite strong and bitter, but if you add sugar, remember that it will make you gain weight.

  15. Carmen M. says:

Hi! I started taking this product yesterday. I’ve gained some kilos that are hard to lose, and I’m feeling desperate. I’m taking it in capsules, but I’m not sure if it’s more or less effective than the infusion. I just hope it works. Regards!!

    • Marta Lerinde says:

In capsules, it usually has greater effects. Combine the chlorogenic acid in green coffee with some exercise or by regulating your diet. People who have difficulty losing weight need a stronger stimulus.

    • monica says:

Which capsules are you taking, Carmen? The Saint-Gottard ones?

  16. Yol says:

Carmen, many of the green coffee capsules or supplements sold don’t contain enough chlorogenic acid, which is the main component responsible for the effects of green coffee. Make sure the capsules you’re taking contain the right amount. Here is the recommended dosage based on the percentage of chlorogenic acid:

    * 1,200-3,000mg if the supplement contains 10% chlorogenic acid
    * 600-1,500mg if the supplement contains 20% chlorogenic acid
    * 240-600mg if the supplement contains 50% chlorogenic acid

  17. A.G says:

Good afternoon, I want to start with green coffee to lose weight. I would like to know if it has the same effects as black coffee, meaning caffeine, which doesn’t let me sleep since black coffee keeps me awake. I’m looking forward to your response.

    • Marta Lerinde says:

If caffeine doesn’t sit well with you, don’t take it. There are some decaffeinated options, but they lose part of their essence.

  18. Rosy says:

It works great when combined with exercise. It works wonders.

  19. Rut says:

Hi girls! I bought green coffee beans. I grind them a little and make an infusion, but the taste is supposed to be very bitter. However, my infusion is not bitter at all. It’s green but tastes more like green beans than coffee. I bought it at “La Casa del Café.”
Can someone tell me why this is?

    • Marta Lerinde says:

It could be the variety you bought, Rut. Normally, any type of green coffee should have a slightly bitter aftertaste, but there are different varieties that can have peculiar notes on the palate. It also depends on who is tasting it, as sometimes we perceive different properties in the same thing. Let’s see what others think about the taste…

    • Gisela says:

It happened to me once that I bought it, and it felt more like dry peas than coffee… I tried it once, it didn’t sit well with me, and I didn’t drink it again. I ended up throwing it away…

  20. elia says:

Hi, I take it, but it’s not working for me… Why could that be?

    • Marta Lerinde says:

There can be many factors, Elia, from the type of diet you follow to whether you exercise, your metabolism… There are a lot of things to consider. It’s a shame.

  21. Vero says:

Hi… is it better to take capsules or prepare the infusion? Which one has a better effect? I don’t have time to go out and exercise. Thanks.

    • Marta Lerinde says:

Green coffee capsules with chlorogenic acid tend to have more intense effects, but that’s the case with most dietary and nutritional supplements. However, some people find that infusions are enough for them.

  22. Fely says:

I suffer from myasthenia gravis and have had a colonoscopy. I started taking green coffee because I need to lose weight to undergo a colon reconstruction. I’m also on a diet and using Biomanan. Do you think I will have any issues with it?

    • Marta Lerinde says:

If you can drink regular coffee, you shouldn’t have any issues with green coffee. If it’s allowed, then you shouldn’t worry about taking chlorogenic acid either.

  23. Cullimore says:

Hello, I’ve been reading about the benefits of green coffee, and I’m thinking of trying it. I’d like to lose a bit of weight as I already follow a balanced diet daily. My question is, if I drink green coffee, can I still drink regular coffee? I love coffee on its own, but I’m not sure if it’s okay to have both. Caffeine doesn’t affect me, I sleep great, and it doesn’t make me feel nervous.
    Regards and thanks!

    • Marta Lerinde says:

Hi Cullimore, maybe it’s too much caffeine, and you’re feeling a bit of nervousness or unease. If you can avoid drinking both, it’s better, especially during the first few days.

  24. martha says:

Hi, I’ve started drinking green coffee from the brand Gourmet Healthy New York. I have one cup in the morning and another at 5 pm. Does anyone know if this green coffee is good?

    • Marta Lerinde says:

Hi Martha, I don’t know the brand, but it shouldn’t be bad. If you want, you can tell us how it goes for you.

  25. Liliana says:

If someone is breastfeeding, can they drink decaffeinated green coffee?

    • Marta Lerinde says:

Just like regular coffee. During breastfeeding, it’s always better to avoid the use of dietary supplements.

  26. Airam Anyer says:

I want to take it. Where can I buy it? Could you give me an address to purchase it? I live in Iztapalapa, CDMX, or leave me a phone number.

    • Marta Lerinde says:

Hi Airam, I can’t point you to a specific store in your area, but you can buy chlorogenic acid online if you don’t know a herbalist or dietary store nearby.

  27. Airam Anyer says:

In fact, I’ve been looking for it for a while, but I haven’t found anything. I haven’t had a favorable response. I’ve looked in natural health stores but haven’t found anything around here or in the Zócalo area. What can I do? I really want to get it.

    • Marta Lerinde says:

Buy it from an online store, Airam.

    • Rouss says:

I bought it online. It wasn’t expensive at all.

  28. Ursula says:

Good evening, I wanted to know about coffee and hypothyroidism, any contraindications? Which is more effective or recommended, capsules or infusions?

    • Marta Lerinde says:

Hi Ursula, if you can drink regular coffee, then you can drink green coffee. Capsules are generally more intense in effects.

  29. Angeles says:

Good morning, I was advised to take it combined with garcinia. I take one green coffee capsule in the morning on an empty stomach and one garcinia capsule before meals and before dinner. I usually drink decaffeinated coffee since my job is very stressful and sometimes my blood pressure is a bit off. I would like to know if I’m doing it correctly. Thank you.

    • Marta Lerinde says:

If you combine chlorogenic acid with garcinia cambogia, you will likely achieve better results as they complement each other well. The only thing to watch out for is your blood pressure, as if regular coffee doesn’t sit well with you, you might feel nervous with this one as well.

  30. Marisol says:

Hello, I’m taking green coffee in infusion, but I prepare it for only one cup. Each time I drink it three times a day, and I use just one teaspoon of green coffee beans in one cup of water. I haven’t lost much weight, is this procedure correct, or is it better to grind it for better results? Thank you for the information.

    • Marta Lerinde says:

If you grind it, it will be easier for the active ingredients to be released in the infusion. The whole bean is a bit harder and thicker, so it needs more steeping time. However, the results of green coffee vary from person to person, depending on lifestyle, diet, exercise, and other factors.

  31. Ezequiel says:

Hi, I’ve been reading about green coffee for two or three weeks. I’m 23 years old, a calm guy with no apparent health issues, thank God. However, despite trying different types and methods of diets since I was 16, I’ve never been able to lose weight. My question is, can I use this product for weight loss? If so, how much should I take daily based on my weight (137 kilos)? For most of my life, I’ve drunk black coffee with milk in the mornings, and it never affects my sleep, so I don’t think it will have any severe effects. Right? Regards, girls.

    • Marta Lerinde says:

Hi Ezequiel, if you’ve tried different diets without success, it would be best to consult a nutritionist who can create a meal plan based on the calories you need each day and suggest the types of food you can eat. Depending on where you live, they can adjust the meal plan to make it easier to find the foods.

Green coffee’s effects can complement your diet, but if you’re dealing with a significant weight issue, it’s best to have a specialist guide you through the process. You might need to adjust your food choices, add others to help with weight loss, and possibly recommend chlorogenic acid to lose a few more kilos.

  32. María says:

Hello, I started taking green coffee capsules from the Salvat brand. Is it good? And another question, it says to take it before meals, how much time before? I’ve been taking it 20 minutes before eating, but I’m not sure if it should be immediately before eating. It doesn’t say so in the leaflet. Thank you very much!

  33. M.ª Carmen Garcia says:

Good morning, I would like some clarification on a very important question. I have SEVERE PULMONARY HYPERTENSION in addition to diabetes, I am overweight, and diets don’t seem to work. Can I take green coffee? Could it be harmful to my condition? I would appreciate any information, as it’s very important to me and especially for my life. Thank you.

P.S. Due to my condition, I can’t engage in any physical exercise.

    • saint morelos says:

      Practice yoga; it’s passive exercise.

  34. NATALIA says:

I’m Natalia from Mendoza, weighing 90 kg. I would like to know how much the product costs. Thank you.

  35. Rouss says:

I bought green coffee with ginger, and honestly, it’s very unpleasant to drink. It gives me stomach acidity… I’ve tried with lemon and still nothing… Any advice?

  36. Patricia says:

Hi girls!! I started taking green coffee capsules, and honestly, I’m not sure what to say. I don’t feel any significant effects. I combine it with daily exercise and a balanced diet. I have my doubts because the only thing I’ve noticed is a headache, and I have trouble sleeping at night… I want to believe it’s because of the caffeine, as I’ve never liked coffee.
I’d like to know if it’s normal not to notice any effects on my body at the beginning.
Regards, and let me know what you think!

    • Marta Lerinde says:

If you’ve never taken caffeine, it’s easy to notice it at night. Try taking the green coffee in the morning and leave a few hours before going to bed. Some people are more sensitive to its active ingredients. What matters most is your diet and the exercise you’re doing.

  37. maria says:

Good afternoon, I started taking green coffee capsules today. I need to lose 15 kg to have knee surgery, and I can’t exercise. I don’t usually drink coffee because caffeine makes me nervous, and after taking green coffee, I felt anxious. I’m not sure if it’s advisable to keep taking it. Can it also be bought in pharmacies?
    Regards.

    • Marta Lerinde says:

If you can’t take regular coffee, green coffee will have the same effects on your body. It’s normal to feel more nervous. If it doesn’t feel right, stop taking it. The one from pharmacies also produces the same symptoms in people prone to anxiety, nervousness, etc.

  38. Julieta says:

Hello, I have a question. A year ago, I had my baby, and I ended up with 30 extra kg. After following very strict diets, I only managed to lose 9 kg, which seems like a significant amount, but the rebound effect is worse than what I lost. I’d like to know if green coffee has that effect when you stop using it. I’d like some good information to avoid another headache because I would love to try it.

  39. silvia says:

I’ve heard about this product and bought it online, two bags of 150 grams of ground green coffee for 70 euros. Let’s see if it’s true that this helps with weight loss.

  40. adriana claudia says:

Hello, I’m Adriana. I have a problem with hypertrophy; my left atrium is a bit enlarged. I’ve always drunk regular coffee, and I’m hypertensive.

  41. adriana claudia says:

I need to know if I can drink green coffee.

  42. Vivi says:

Do the two capsules get taken together before meals?

  43. Eliana says:

Hi! I just wanted to share my experience, which seems to be different for everyone. I started taking green coffee because I was being careful with my food without seeing results. Since then, I’ve been losing an average of two kilos per week, keeping the same basic diet and the occasional slip-up on weekends. For me, it’s amazing, and it’s not expensive. I buy the beans and grind one tablespoon with a mini blender, adding a little ginger. With that, I make an infusion that should steep for 15 minutes before drinking. I add half a teaspoon of stevia and drink one cup on an empty stomach (I wait half an hour before having breakfast) and another cup in the afternoon.
I’ve tried many things, some very expensive, and this not only works but it even gives me more energy and has improved my mood. 🙂

  44. Maritza says:

Hi, I’m Maritza, and I want to know how much I should use in half a liter of water. How many beans should I put in the water, and how much should I drink before each meal? Lastly, do I eat the beans from the infusion or just drink the water? Thanks for your help. After this, I’ll try it because, honestly, I’m tired of being the fattest in the family.

  45. Katy says:

Hi, I’m from Maryland, specifically from Ica. I would like to buy it, but I can’t find it… I’ve been to places that sell natural products, and some don’t even know what it is. Please help me know where I can buy it.

  46. milagros says:

Hi, I’m from Luisiana, and I would like to know where to get it, and in any case, I’d like to know how to make the infusions of the coffee. Also, do I need to remove the skin from the coffee beans, or do I boil everything? I need your help, thanks.

  47. Herminia Hurtado says:

Good morning, Marta. I need to lose a few kilos, and I’ve been reading about green coffee. My question is as follows: I take anxiolytics because I have a high level of anxiety. For this reason, I go to the gym every day to burn off adrenaline. I also can’t drink coffee or any stimulants. So, can I take green coffee?
    Thanks.

  48. andrea says:

Hi, I’m from Kansas. They sell it in pharmacies and boticas. You can buy it there. The product is effective… thanks.

  49. Mariela says:

Hi Marta, I wanted to know if my 11-year-old daughter can take it. I need her to lose weight, and I’ve tried everything. The problem is that she has a lot of anxiety about eating all the time. I’m hoping for your response soon. Thank you.

Good evening, I have a question. I’ve been taking green coffee for almost 4 days, and at first, I had very strong pain in the upper abdominal area that would later go down. Now, the pain is gone, but in the last few hours, I’ve had liquid and dark stools. Is this normal?
    Thank you for your response.

They offered me “Cafenet” online, which are green coffee and tea capsules saying they are NATURAL and contain NO CAFFEINE. I suffer from hypertension and irritable bowel syndrome and have caffeine restrictions. I want to cancel the purchase, and they insist that it’s natural… I’m concerned because, first, I’ll pay a lot for something that might contain caffeine, and if it does, I won’t consume it. And secondly, how can they play with something so dangerous? Has anyone heard of this product? Thanks.

    • Marta Lerinde says:

Talk to the store where you bought it and cancel the order. You shouldn’t have any issues as there’s usually a time frame to cancel the purchase.

I have irritable bowel syndrome and hypertension. My question is, does green coffee and green tea in capsules contain caffeine? Thank you.

    • Marta Lerinde says:

Tea contains caffeine or theine. If you have intestinal problems, it could upset your stomach.

Hello, I’m thinking of taking green coffee, but I read people say “STUDIES SAY…” What studies are these? Where can I verify these studies?
    Regards.

The polyphenols in the extract have many biological properties, such as antibacterial and antioxidant effects, as well as particularly hypoglycemic and hypolipidemic effects. (2) In particular, chlorogenic acid has been shown to modulate glucose levels and lipid metabolism, both in healthy individuals and those with metabolic disorders. (3)

Hello, I was recommended this product to help with intestinal regularity, which worked. The packaging says 2 to 4 capsules per day, but I take only one. I haven’t lost weight (and I don’t wish to). My question is, why does it say each capsule contains 380mg, which is more than the recommended amount? Could it cause any problems?

  55. PABLO AZOGUE says:

The problem with weight is a matter of habits, customs, and eating behaviors, and how we psychologically understand food and the eating process… That’s why no tablet, powder, grain, shake, or magical exercise will fix it. Maybe you’ll lose a few kilos, but then they’ll come back because these practices enhance the body’s ability to absorb food and trigger the neurological circuits of anxiety. Respecting our body, taking responsibility for our health, and stopping believing it’s the doctor’s responsibility, in addition to purposeful eating, is a solid starting point… Good luck, and don’t waste your time and money. There will be hundreds of “novel” products coming.

Good afternoon, is the brand “Green Coffee Bean” reliable?
    Thank you very much.

Hi, I wanted to ask, I have a 4-month-old baby, and I breastfeed him, but only a little because my milk is too thin and doesn’t feed him well. It has also reduced my milk production, so I only breastfeed him twice a day. Can I drink green coffee?

  59. Alejandro says:

I take it in drops, and I’ve lost weight!!! It reduced my appetite. Now, I’m starting physical activity. It really works.

  60. Berta says:

I’ve started taking 800mg green coffee capsules, 2 a day. I’ve been stuck at the same weight for a long time, and despite taking care of my diet and exercising, I haven’t lost weight. I wanted to try something to speed up my metabolism. Do you think it will work for me? Do you think 800mg is too much? I’m 22 years old, 159cm tall, and weigh 60kg. I just want to lose about 5kg

  61. Andy says:

Hello, thanks for the previous comments. Chlorogenic acid is very effective in weight loss, according to studies from indexed journals.
